I phone your number requesting a quot. lady answered unfoutanately she could not hear me although I was using a land line and i was cut off.I phone again this time I got a gentleman who assistant me.He asked me to check some information with my daugther and promised to phone me in 15 minuts.Then later somebody else phoned me and informed me that the person who was helping me is busy. he wanted me to give the same information that I gave the first guy this i was not prepared to do and i drop the call.This expreince does not give covidence in your company.

I submitted a claim with Mrs Elsie Tshabalala and she handled my claim very proffesionaly and timely. She is trained for her job and she was very patient with me. I m glad that she handled my claim. Policy nr *: My car was written off by Miway. The insurance money was paid to MFC. I have an outstanding settlement with the bank. SMD (salvages) have auctioned the car. Apparently this money gets paid to Miway. Please advise whether you in turn pay that money to MFC towards the settlement outstanding or what happens. I left my name and number on website for callback. I was called back but am very unimpressed with result. The operator asked hundreds of questions and gave me too much information, first call was 25 minutes! We were not done, I had to go out and she called back later, this was 5 minutes and only got thru 2 questions. We had only covered cars and started household by this time, still had to complete contents, do building cover, specified and unspecified, etc etc. My answer: NoWay MiWay!!!

Good day 

I have had NO JOY after numerous attempts to put my claim even submitting an email to date my claim has still not been processed

I have two vehicles insured by Miway and on 28 Dec 2011, one vehicle was involved in an accident where it has been declared a write-off. I am annoyed by the level of service received especially from a Miway employee called * I don’t know how many times I have attempted to get hold of him without any luck. This kind of attitude make me think choosing Miway as insurer was probably the worse decision of my life. It is almost a month now and my claim no. * has not been fully attended to. I still have one vehicle insured by Miway but I’m not sure if I will keep this policy with Miway.

Very bad service received from Sonja Le Grange,they neverdouble check where the money goes into as I have instructed the correct bank details but was sent to the incorrect bank. Money was paid in on the 4th January 2012 and I did not know it was in the wrong bank and I kept on calling my Capitec bank and the money was not paid in at all. She could not even told me on the 5th Jan that the money was in my Ned bank account. But Mowbray told me only on the 7th January 2012. So I never got the money paid for my windscreen out of my pocket, because Sonja said no its fine you can do the windscreen the money will be in. But this never happened. So they decided lets cancel this client from this policy easiest way to go about. They have asked me to run around to Ned bank and get the money from them, after the mistake they have made. How this happened I don’t know, Mowbray confirmed they made a mistake but he never called me back as promised. Sent me an sms instead of calling me saying my miway insurance has been cancelled, I was not worried as I was going to cancel anyway.

have 3 vehicles that needs insurance, so I contact Miway. They did provide me with a telephonic quote afer spending 30min answering questions. I asked the quote to be email to me. that was in Dec 2011 – nothing happend. so yesterday i phoned again – the lady emailed eventually. most crucial info is incorrect and the quote has expired 14/01/2012. I emailed her back that someone needs to phone me please – nothing happend. Obviously they dont need business!

Good day, Let me start by acknowledging the help I received from Sandile Ndlovu on my claim. I had lodged a claim and it was approved on the 23.12.2011. The arrangement of a courtesy vehicle was made for the 23.12.2011 but on the 22.12.2011 I went to confirm that the car will be ready in the morning of the 23rd and to my suprise the booking was cancelled by MIWAY without any reason and without informing me. I had to call again and they made another booking for that day, even now I still don’t know why they cancelled but I got the car from the car rentals. The authorization to repair my vehicle was sent on the 23rd to the penalbeater which closedon that day and opened on the 03.01.2012. But on the 04.01.2012 I called the penal beater and they said they have not received any authorization from MIWAY, I called Sandile again who investigated and got back to me stating that they now have the letter. The P/beater is not even sure today when my car will be ready, they keep on telling me to call and check progress this day and when I call they give out another date just like that. My problem is that I am seriously inconvenienced because the courtesy car is back at the rentals and I am not sure if I will get my car anytime soon. Shouldn’t MYWAY check progress and be intouch of the P/beater to see my car through repairs till the end? I feel like they dumped my car there and the rest is up to me and my inconvenienced family. Granted that my days of the rented vehicles expired but is it not the responsibility of MYWAY to make sure that by the time of expiry my vehicle is ready for me? I am just frustrated!!
