Can a person under 25 year’s old with a valid learner driver license drive my vehicle while accompanied by me, the regular driver? and will MiWay pay the full claim if this person is involved in a MVA and there is claimable damage caused to the vehicle?
Any person with a valid learners license can drive the your vehicle provided they are accompanied by a person with a valid driver’s license at all times. In the event of an accident the claim will be entertained provided all policy terms and conditions were met and that the correct regular driver is noted on the policy. An additional excess will also apply in the event of a person under the age of 24 driving the vehicle that is not the regular driver.
