Can I insure a rebuild car?
MiWay’s car insurance cover does cover passenger vehicles (not exceeding 3500kg) that are registered in South Africa and are in a roadworthy condition. Please note however that MiWay will only pay out 70% of the market value in the event of the car been written off or stolen and not recovered, i.e. a total loss of the vehicle.
The standard excess will apply for any claim unless the client has opted for a voluntary higher excess on the car insurance policy.
