Do I have to pay for towing and storage costs? How long does a claim take?

We will pay only for reasonable towing and storage costs in event of a claim. Should you be involved in an accident it is important to contact our emergency assistance line to ensure the safe removal and storage of the vehicle from the scene of the accident. The period taken to finalise a claim really does depend on the location of the incident and extent of the damages. We aim to assess the vehicle within 48 hours and have claim finalised within 5 days. We have a specially selected panel of repairers to suit all makes and models of vehicle. We prefer to send the vehicle to a repairer of our choice so that we are able to maintain repair quality standards and have recourse in event of any issues. For that reason we do not ‘pay out’ as you referred to in your question.
