I cannot find my prescription sunglasses, to what extent are they covered on my household contents section.
There is no cover for “lost” sunglasses under household contents cover. They would have to be “stolen” inside the house for them to be covered. The client would have to report a theft case to the police and the standard excess of R1000 would apply.
Should the individual value of the item be more than R1,500 it would need to be specified under all-risk cover. All-risk covers you for accidental loss or damage anywhere in the world (Your home is part of this).
