if you claim and you have a courtesy car for 30 days, why do you have to take the car back on the same day you recieve the vehicle back? Surely we pay it every month and should be able to keep the courtesy car for the 30 days max? pls explain?
Kindly see the extract from the MiWay policy wording below. It states that the rental vehicle is available for the maximum period selected or until the claim is finalised, whichever is the earliest.
Car hire
Following an incident for which I have had a valid claim, MiWay will provide me with a hired car, where my vehicle:
- is damaged and being repaired
- is damaged and not drivable
- is stolen or hijacked
I will need to pay:
- the security deposit, running costs as well as the collection and delivery fees
- the excess in the event of a claim for loss of or damage to the hired car
The hired car is available for the maximum period I selected or until my claim is finalised if it is within the selected period, whichever date is the earliest. My Coversheet reflects the period that I chose.
