Is it true that with MiWay you pay extra on the excess if you are only with them for less than three months and if an accident or theft happens over the weekend and after hours?
Currently (September 2010) there is an additional excess that is applicable if the claim occurs within 3 months of the inception date of the policy. An additional excess over weekends does apply depending on who was driving the car. If the regular driver as noted on the policy coversheet is driving, no additional excess will apply.
