I’ve got a valid learners license up until later next year (2010) and I’m busy with my driver’s license so can I insure my car with you guys, if yes can you tell me how do I go about that.

If you are the regular driver of your vehicle the policy will be declined as we cannot insure a vehicle where the regular driver does not have a valid drivers licence.

We can however insure your vehicle with you as a policy holder but stating the regular driver’s details as being the person who drives the vehicle most often (assuming it is not you). In terms of our policy, in order for you to have a valid claim, the person driving the vehicle must have a valid drivers licence, this could also include a valid learners licence. In the case of a learners licence a claim will only be valid if the person is accompanied by a person with a valid drivers licence.
