#MiWayLovesFurries Terms and Conditions

Introduction

  • Participation in this Competition is governed by these terms and conditions (the “Rules”).
  • You, as the participant, are encouraged to review the Rules before entering the Competition and acknowledge that you have been given an appropriate opportunity to do so and that you understand and accept these Rules.
  • This competition is operated by MiWay Insurance.
  • Your participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and you agree to abide by these Rules.

By participating in this Competition, participants agree to the rules set out below.

The following people shall not be eligible to participate in this Competition:

  • Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees, or consultants of MiWay.
  • Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner, or associate of any of the persons specified above.

To enter the competition, follow the instructions indicated in the original post.

Competition Period:

The competition runs from 4th October 2024 (00:01) to 31st October 2024 (23:59). Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

How to Enter:

To enter, participants must:

  • Share a picture of your pet along with a short story about what makes them special.
  • Use the hashtag #MiWayLovesFurries in the post.
  • Follow MiWay on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Tag @MiWayinsurance in your post or story across social platforms.

Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to South African residents only, aged 18 and older.
  • Employees of MiWay, their family members, or anyone else connected to the company are not eligible to enter.
  • Participants must have a public social media profile during the competition period to ensure the visibility of entries.

Double Your Chances:

  • If the participant is a current MiWay client, their entry will be considered twice, thereby doubling their chances of winning.

Winner Selection:

  • Twenty (20) winners will be selected at random from the pool of eligible entries. MiWay will use a random draw to select the winners.
  • The winners will be announced on MiWay’s social media pages by the 6th of November 2024.
  • The decision of the judges is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prize:

  • The winner will receive a R500 pet store voucher, redeemable at select pet stores.

Notification and Prize Collection:

  • The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used for entry.
  • If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, MiWay reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  • Please allow 15 - 20 days for voucher delivery.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

General:

  • By entering this competition, participants will agree to have their entries (pictures and stories) used by MiWay for promotional purposes without any further compensation.
  • MiWay reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, including the substitution of prizes.
  • MiWay shall not be responsible for any lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries.

Data Privacy:

MiWay is committed to protecting participants’ privacy and will process all personal data in line with South African data protection laws. Personal data will only be used for this competition and will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent.

By participating in this competition, participants agree to all the above terms and conditions.
