Terms and Conditions

The R1 Million Fuel Voucher Campaign will be subject to the following conditions:

• To enter, you need to get an get an obligation-free Personal Lines or Business insurance quote between October 2022 and 28 February 2023. You will automatically be entered into the weekly draw to win.
• The entrant must provide accurate, current, and complete information when participating in the competition.
• For new clients: To enter the competition, you need to get an obligation-free insurance quote from MiWay Insurance between October 2022 and end-February 2023.
• For current clients: To enter the competition, you need to get a quote for additional cover from MiWay, between 10 October 2023 and end-February 2023. This could include additional car(s) that you own, business insurance, your building cover or building contents cover, or your movables such as cellphone, laptop etc or any of our value-added products on your existing MiWay insurance policy.
• MiWay reserves the right to remove any entries if seen as spam, derogatory, offensive or obscene in nature.
• Winners will be selected weekly by random draw and announced every Monday till the end of February 2023. Winners will be notified by email and announced on MiWay’s website.
• For the week commencing 25 December 2022 and 1 January 2023 there will be no draws. These two draws will be rolled over onto Monday 9 January 2023, on which date there will be 75 lucky winners of R2,000 fuel vouchers each.
• The selection of the winner(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• MiWay’s decision to grant a prize does not rely on the entrant taking up a MiWay policy.
• Each winner will receive a R2,000 fuel voucher from Engen, redeemable through the Engen 1App. Each winner is responsible for downloading the Engen 1App to activate and redeem their voucher. Instructions will be provided to each winner by email.
• The prize cannot be substituted for cash and is not transferrable. In case of refusal or non-acceptance of the prize or conditions that are inherent to the competition, the prize will not be awarded and MiWay will be entitled to choose another winner.
• Each winner will have 6 months) to redeem their prize, whereafter MiWay will be entitled to repurpose the voucher.
• Entrants permit MiWay and its campaign partners to process their personal data about participation in the competition. MiWay and its campaign partner(s) will safely store all entrants’ and applicants’ personal information in its database, which is confidential and will be treated in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act.
• By entering the competition, entrants or participation grant MiWay the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your name for competition purposes in promoting or publicising the results of the competition, including the right to name the winners of the prizes in public and/or any social media forum. MiWay reserves the right to request that any images taken of the winners be used for marketing purposes in any manner they deem fit, without any further remuneration being made payable to the winners.
• The competition is not open to MiWay, MiWayLife, MiWay Blink and Engen employees, as well as their immediate family or cohabitating partners. Also excluded from participation are the staff and relatives of any person acting on behalf of MiWay in respect of the competition.
• This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the social media platform that it was promoted on.
• MiWay is entitled to, at its discretion and without notice, change or modify these terms and conditions of the competition without giving a reason to discontinue, modify or adapt the competition for reasons of its own without any obligation to compensate any damages on behalf of the participant. Any changes or adaptations within the competition will be made public on MiWay’s owned platforms (Social Media and MiWay’s website). MiWay also reserves the right to amend or alter these terms, the conditions of the competition at any time and reject entries from entrants who act outside of the fair spirit of the competition.
• Where a prize is to be delivered by electronic means, there can be no claim of any kind against MiWay for defects to the validity of the code, data or other electronically transmitted information containing the prize. In such a case, MiWay may direct the recipient to a third-party provider for resolution as a best endeavour.
• MiWay will not be held liable for any problems or defects arising from the use of the Website, the Engen 1App and/or downloading any components whatsoever in relation to the competition.
• MiWay is in no way responsible for any damages arising from participation in the competition for any technical malfunctions, failures, or delays with respect to participation in the competition.
