MiWheels refers to any passenger vehicle or LDV with a GVM (gross vehicle mass) of less than 3500kg. The following vehicles are excluded from cover: Vehicles used for emergency services (including traffic control and armed response vehicles), law enforcement, tow trucks, taxis or any vehicle carrying fare-paying passengers, driving instruction or rental purposes.

Apart from South Africa, the vehicle will also be covered for private use in Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The vehicle must be registered in South Africa - vehicles not registered in South Africa are not covered and only liability cover may be taken.
