A note about COVID-19

We hope that you and your family are keeping safe and healthy through the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19, as well as our country’s nationwide lockdown announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

As MiWay, our core purpose of enabling our clients to live their way is more important than ever.The COVID-19 pandemic is an unparalleled challenge, but one that also gives us a unique opportunity to make a real impact and difference to our clients and our country.

Operations during lockdown:

Our business continuity plan enables us to operate fully and to continue delivering the service you expect from us.  More than 1,500 of our staff are working from home and remain fully available to you, while our offices remain closed during the lockdown period. 

Operating hours:

Our Sales, Client Services and Claims call centres will be operating according to the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 07h00 – 18h00 (Claims); 08h00 – 18h00 (Client Services); 08h00 – 19h00 (Sales)
  • Saturdays: 08h00 – 13h00 (Claims, Client Services and Sales)
  • Sundays and public holidays: Closed

We will continue to deliver the world-class service you’ve become accustomed to: 

  • Our Sales, Client Services and Claims call centres can be reached on 0860 64 64 64 during operating hours.
  • If you have just insured a vehicle with us and require an inspection certificate, you can utilise the self-inspection feature on the MiWay App without having to drive out to an inspection centre.
  • Our MiHelp 24-hour Emergency Assistance call centre remains operational as it is an essential service. If you have an emergency, call 08600 767 64.
  • To log a claim or to manage your policy, simply log on to MiXpress or use the MiWay App (available on both Android and Apple Play stores).
