We are proud to introduce the launch of the new MiWay App!

The brand-new updated version of the MiWay App is here, and it was designed to enable you to live your way a little more. With many of our clients using digital platforms, it is important to provide an app that is easy to navigate while giving access to our services when they are needed most.

Your safety is one of our biggest concerns, thus an Emergency Alert feature has been introduced on the new app so that we can help you immediately in the event of a vehicle accident. All you need to do is activate Emergency Alert on the MiWay App, and we will detect if you have been in an accident, directly from your phone. Should an accident be detected, the MiWay 24/7 emergency call center will be alerted immediately and a MiHelp agent will contact you to help with emergency assistance such as ambulance services or towing to be sent to the accident scene. Emergency Alert is absolutely free on your personal vehicle cover which includes accident cover but does not include business vehicles. There is no need to go through the hassle of getting a specific device installed in your car for this service!

Still remember what you have access to on the app? Here are some of the ways you can use the MiWay App to live your way once you’ve updated to the new version:

  • Activate Emergency Alert feature
  • Do your self-inspection
  • Request Roadside Assistance
  • Request Home Emergency Assistance
  • Book WeDrive (take-me-home service)
  • Update your policy instantly, without speaking to an agent
  • Submit a Claim
  • Chat to our friendly consultants

The new MiWay App is available on Apple Store (IOS), Google Play (Android) as well as the Huawei AppGallery. For information, email us at info@miway.co.za.

This is the first phase of more exciting and enabling features to come. With your feedback, we commit to working on continuously improving the app so that you can live your way.
