Terms and Conditions
1. Parties
1.1 The promoter of this campaign is Miway Insurance Limited, a registered non-life insurer and financial services provider (“the Company”).
1.2 The campaign is run in collaboration with Unity Tyre Trading (Pty) Ltd T/A Point-S-SA (“Lead Partner”), only to the extent that the Lead Partner hosts the QR code on its premises.
1.3 The participant is the person who scans the QR code and submits their own information to the Company (“You”/ “you”/ participant).
2. Campaign Participation
2.1 The Company has placed a QR code at the premises of the Lead Partner.
2.2 When you scan the QR code you will be directed to a WhatsApp journey. You must follow the prompts and submit all required information honestly, accurately and in full to obtain a quote from the Company.
2.3 Once you have provided all necessary information, the Company will assess the risk, subject to the Company’s underwriting criteria and business rules and provide you with a formal quote.
2.4 If you successfully complete a valid quote with the Company in respect of a comprehensive non-life personal lines or commercial lines insurance product, you may become eligible to receive a R400 (four hundred rand) voucher (“Voucher”), subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2.5 This is not a referral campaign. You must submit your own information for the quote and not the information of any third party.
3. Campaign Period
3.1 This campaign will run from 15 December 2025 to 28 February 2026, or until terminated earlier by the Company in its sole discretion.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The campaign is open to natural persons who are 18 years or older; are resident in the Republic of South Africa; and have scanned the QR code at the Lead Partner’s premises and completed the WhatsApp journey themselves.
4.2 You will not be eligible for a Voucher where the quote issued is only in respect of a value-added product, although you may submit your details to obtain a quote for a value-added product.
5. What is a “valid quote”?
5.1. For purposes of this campaign, a “valid quote” means that:
5.1.1 You have completed the full WhatsApp journey and provided all information requested by the Company to issue a quote;
5.1.2 You meet the Company’s underwriting and eligibility criteria for the relevant product;
5.1.3 The quote is successfully generated on the Company’s systems and communicated to you;
5.1.4 The quote is in respect of genuine new business, and not a duplicate or repeat of an existing policy, policyholder, lead or recently lapsed policy with the Company (as determined by the Company);
5.1.5 You were not issued with a quote by the Company within a period of 30 (thirty) days prior to submission of your details via this campaign;
5.1.6 You were not cancelled by a previous insurer; and

5.2 The Company’s determination as to whether a quote is “valid” is final and binding.
6. Voucher Award and Conditions
6.1 You may receive a Voucher for your valid quote, subject to availability of vouchers; a maximum of one Voucher per person; and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
6.2 The Voucher will be to the value of R400 (four hundred rand), issued via 6Dot50 within 36 (thirty-six) business hours after a valid quote is issued.
6.3 The type of Voucher, issuing mechanism and participating retailers are determined by the Company in its sole discretion and may change without notice.
6.4 The Voucher is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or any other consideration; and may be subject to separate third-party terms and conditions, which you must comply with.
6.5 The Company is not responsible for lost, deleted, stolen, expired or damaged vouchers or any failure by you to redeem the voucher before its expiry date.
7. Verification and Disqualification
7.1 The Company reserves the right to verify your identity, eligibility and the validity of any quote.
7.2 The Company may disqualify you and/or withdraw a Voucher if you have provided false, misleading, or incomplete information; there is evidence of fraud, collusion, or manipulation of the campaign; you have breached these Terms and Conditions; or attempt to claim more than one Voucher.
8. No Obligation to Accept Quote or Take Up Policy
8.1 You are under no obligation to accept the quote or purchase any policy from the Company.
8.2 You are required to seriously engage in the quote process as a genuine prospective customer, and the Company may refuse or withdraw a Voucher where the quote request is clearly abusive or not in good faith.
9. POPIA and Use of Personal Information
9.1 By scanning the QR code and submitting your details via WhatsApp, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information by the Company for the purposes of:
a) contacting you to provide a quote and related services;
b) administering this campaign and allocating Vouchers;
c) complying with legal and regulatory obligations; and

9.3 Your personal information may be shared with the Company’s authorized service providers; and the Lead Partner, to the extent necessary for campaign administration and as permitted by law.
9.4 You may withdraw your consent or exercise your POPIA rights by contacting the Company.
9.5 You indemnify the Company against any claims, loss or damage arising from any breach of POPIA by you, including but not limited to you submitting information of any third party to the Company via this campaign.

10.2 The campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with WhatsApp. You acknowledge that you use WhatsApp at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and the Lead Partner and their directors, employees, agents and contractors will not be liable for any loss, damage, claim or expense of any nature arising out of or in connection with this campaign or the Voucher, including but not limited to any network, system or technical failures; any delayed, lost or misdirected communications; any failure or delay in the issuance or delivery of vouchers; or indirect, consequential or special damages.
12. Changes, Suspension and Termination
12.1 The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the campaign (including these Terms and Conditions) at any time, for any reason.
12.2 Any changes will be effective from the date they are published or communicated by Company via an appropriate channel determined by the Company.
