Rev up at TruckX and FleetX!

Action packed and adrenalin filled, this year’s TruckX and FleetX event is being held at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 12-13 July. With a wealth of information, insights and excitement for transport operators, fleet managers, logistics providers and anyone with an interest in efficient mobility, the two-day event promises action and adrenalin with a high-octane line up both on and off the circuit.

Day One will focus on heavy commercial transport (TruckX), while Day Two will be dedicated to issues affecting the fleet industry (FleetX).

You can look forward to tons of fun in the form of driving skills challenges, virtual reality experiences and even tests that will tickle your taste buds:

  • Fancy yourself on the cover of a magazine? Visit MiWay’s stall at the expo and you’ll not only be able to chat to us about your truck and fleet insurance needs, you can also have your photo taken by a professional photographer and printed on a magazine cover for free!  You’ll definitely make your colleagues and friends jealous with this keepsake.
  • A driving challenge with a difference! Pit your skills against a top driver by getting behind the steering wheel of an Eicher truck in a race to see who achieves maximum efficiency – your performance will be recorded for you to view afterwards!
  • Speed in a Suit. The SA Express Parcel Association (SAEPA) will host a Speed in a Suit competition – an event especially designed for execs. Slide into the cockpit of an express courier vehicle and you’re all set to dazzle, the aim being to achieve the quickest time using the least amount of fuel!
  • What’s up with the chocolate?  Visitors to the Sebokeng Fuels stand will be taken through a virtual reality, 3D experience of a fuel molecule passing through an engine. Special chocolate tasting sessions will sensitise visitors to how a truck’s engine feels when it is fed sub-standard fuel.

Attendance is free, but you’ll need to register for the event – visit www.truckx.co.za.
