Friday is Miday Competition

Simply send us a voice note through WhatsApp (084 850 094) to Jacaranda FM on the Breakfast with Martin Bester show telling us why Friday is your best day. You could tell us about your favourite Friday tradition, what you love doing on a Friday, or simply what makes Friday feel special to you. 

Your voice note could be selected to be played on Friday Is My Day with Martin Bester, Fridays between 06:00 and 09:00 on Jacaranda FM. 

If your voice note is selected, you could WIN R1 000!. If you have a Miway policy you could win an additional R1 000. 

Tell us what makes Friday your day! It could be anything from heading out with friends, chilling at home, spending time with family, enjoying a favourite meal, getting home early to your pets, or simply enjoying the weekend vibes.

The Friday Is My Day campaign with Miway will run from the 4th September 2026 to the 30th November 2026. 

Voice notes must be submitted within the campaign period to qualify. 

Breakfast with Martin Bester show on Jacaranda FM airs every Friday between 06:00 and 09:00. 

You could win R1 000 cash if your voice note is selected as the winning entry for that Friday. 

There is R1 000 up for grabs every Friday, with a total campaign prize pool of R12 000. You also stand a chance to win an additional R1 000 if you have a Miway Policy. 

Not necessarily. Sending a voice note gives you a chance to participate, but your entry must meet the campaign and the station’s requirements and be selected in accordance with the competition rules. 

If your entry is selected as the winning entry, you'll stand a chance to win R1 000 and an additional R1 000 if you are a Miway customer. 

Yes, you may submit multiple voice notes throughout the campaign. However, each participant is eligible to win only one prize, regardless of the number of entries submitted. 

No, you may not win more than once.

Yes you need to be a listener of Jacaranda FM as you would be required to submit your voice note according to the campaign entry instructions.
